Hello,

I recently got my R5 Monobath order and i noticed some differences between the label and your specifications on the web. In the document « Directions of use » you provide on your website, it says you have to warm the chemical to 85° (30°C). But my bottle indicates a warming temperature of 75° (24°C). Which guideline shall i follow ? Is this a typo or are there different batches of your product ?

Regards,

Roger

THE ANSWER …

Thanks for checking in Roger.

The correct temp for running R5 MONOBATH DEVELOPER is 85°F (30C), as advertised on the latest version of the bottle label (a number of old labels with conflicting information remain in the inventory pipeline).

We conducted further R5 research in August 2016 which indicated the higher temperature is the best recommendation.  (R5’s effective temperature range of 75°F to 90°F has not changed; only the recommended temperature has changed.)

Our project has some experimental characteristics in which important handling information can change from time to time.  In case of conflicts in published information due to obsolete web links (our own or to reviews or articles of others that are aging), one is advised to consult the respective Product page in the Shop — in this case, R5 — which will by its nature offer the most accurate, timely and complete handling references.

Questions, like yours, to support@new55.net are also effective, but may take a bit longer than Helpie-Selfie.

Please keep in touch,
